Simple Rice - This will add some subtle flavor and interesting color to your rice dishes.
#1 - One cup basmati rice.
#2 - One teaspoon of cumin seeds
#3 - One teaspoon of turmeric
#4 - One and one-half cups water
#5 - Salt to taste (Please not more than one eighth of a teaspoon)
Combine ingredients and cook in your rice cooker.
Put your favorite spiced meat or vegetables on top.
Makes enough for 2 hungry adults or three regular servings.
